Edward Wiley, PhD is a senior executive with a proven record of building and leading world class data science teams at companies at stages from startup to Fortune 50.  Ed has served as Chief Data Scientist at Sears Holdings (NASDAQ: SHLD), where he built and led a newly-formed team that developed production-scale solutions to identify and capture $100M+ margin enhancing opportunities in the areas of pricing, offers and other sales and marketing instruments.  

After receiving his PhD in Statistics and Psychological Studies at Stanford, Ed spent four years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he led engagements with senior management at top financial services and high technology organizations.  Ed is former Chair of the Research & Evaluation Methodology doctoral program at U. of Colorado, and has advised federal governmental agencies/projects in Colombia, Germany, and the U.S.

Jason Steele is the co-founder and CTO of Mortech.  He successfully built Mortech into a premier player in the Fintech world driving mortgage recommendations for Google, Lending Tree, and Zillow.  Jason’s technology lead to the successfully acquisition of Mortech by Zillow in 2012.  Jason still serves product manager and is passionate about infrastructure, architecture, and aligning development goals with business priorities.
